This is what I have to look forward to

Possibly the apex of the entire academic year: party at our professor's house. Grad school shrinks horizons.

Mrs. S-I: I sincerely hope that your professors are more fun than mine were. A party full of mathematicians is typically a bit dull. A canonical mathematics meta-joke goes like this:

"He paused during his talk and said, 'This reminds me of a joke, but first, a few definitions...'"

That's actually funny to mathematicians.
